Fwiw I recorded 21 videos last Saturday, 3 of them over 20 minutes long.

all my buddys have gopro's the newer ones and always have problems, not enough battery,is it on, **** im out of storage, green screen, red screen, etc, etc, etc. I laugh my contour roam work amazing i have it on 1080 and you will have to watch it with a high qaulity computer otherwise the video skips, if you run it with the 720 it will not skip. I use a drift camera mount for the top of my helmet and it screws in via the bottom tripod screw, it gets it up off the helmet and great views.

Sounds like the contours are good. A couple of us use midland xtc280. We like them. Out of us 2 I have been having record time issues, but I just sent it in under warranty for that problem. We'll see what the outcome of that is. 3 year warranty so that's cool. Austin's camera works great every time. Records all day. I have several trail riding vids on youtube. You can see how some of the individual segments are continued in next segment. The camera automatically cuts each recording session into 10 min. Segments. The Drift mount setup looks slick. Thanks for posting this, I need a couple more mounts so I'll give it a try.
Checked the Amazon price on a Go-Pro Hero4 Black this morning: $499 - ouch, don't think my melon is even worth that.
Would like to see some video posted here that was taken with one though (for comparison).
