I left the Yoop when I turned 18, looking for a better life......been trying to get back for 40 years now. Now back to the thread, my 07 IQ 600 burned down 3 times with pistons, my 12 Adventure, once with a crank at 3500 miles, and once with pistons at 4800 miles. It happens to all of them imo. Now I'm on Vipers and we will see what happens, so far so good with 3k on it.

Based on my personal experience, and a majority of the posts, from here and elsewhere, it seems as though 4,800 is the magic number.

Riding off trail, the way he does, and the extra load it puts on the motor, it seems like Skylar's sled went down at about the right time.

Wish they could really fix this as, the 800 puts out some major league power.

My next sled will be a Polaris 800. I will just invest the extra money to prolong it's life, hopefully!

Wayne seem to have the right plan. Be pro-active but, inevitably, it will probably go too.

Heck I can hardly make a bowl of cereal! I'd like a garage of my own but I'm not ready to move out yet. I just turned 20![/QUOTE]

Wish i still lived at my parents, I'd have a 16 HO Ordered too. I was in the Navy at 17 been on my own since. Always too many bills to be ordering new sleds, always had older used sleds. Good thing I could work on them to keep them rideable
My own kids at 21 and 24 are still here at home, and the boy 24 i don't think even has any plans of moving out. Guess it's just a sign of the times.

Yup can stay on parents insurance till 26. I've had my eye out for houses but more interested in a garage/shop right now.

Gotta have a place for toys, 60 x 20 garage, 20 x 18 house.
