love the skeeter but id like to see someone reopen parkview - more places to eat and additional lodging.

anyone have a million dollars?

I'd buy Krupp's long before the Parkview. Year round business, can't beat having a resort on a lake.

Not intended, just lifted them off the facebook post of the Mosquito. It was snowing so hard with so little light that's the way they turned out I'm guessing.

Funny, that would be a State, not a town:) How about a general area like "near Houghton, or Copper Harbor, Porcupine.....etc."

The Skeeter was a little less crowed on Saturday at 3:00 when we got there...still took 2 hours for a couple of orders of curds and even then we didn't get them. Cancelled the order and left. Oh well.

Crazy the number of trucks and trailers coming and going and looking for spots!

I go up to UP with my brother a few times a year, and we NEVER drink when on the sleds...ever. When we get back to the hotel, we do go out to the local bars. And when we do that...we walk to the bars!

...I had a bacon cheeseburger and two bud lights that Saturday at the bug bar...God bless America!
