I know it is a weekend, I know it is your busy time, BUT please give a VERY BRIEF update on the "Big One" for Tue-Wed,,,,,,,,NOAA appears to have it going further South with smaller totals.

And if John agrees with what the noaa says? You end up being grumpy all weekend? 3 different computer models, possibly saying 3 different tracks, wait until Monday.

From what I just read, on two different forecast discussions per the nws lacrosse, and Milwaukee, two of the models moved the track a lil more north, and one a little more south, and you can probably expect this to change right up till monday, maybe even Tuesday morning. John, if I'm out of line, just delete my comment.

Thanks for the wintercast links, helps a tad. ( I saved the "links")

My son is at MTU and involved with the IVC "one niter" and I'm just trying to make driving plans to our place in Spread Eagle, then on to MTU Thursday morning. Looks like I'll be better to wait unil Monday morning to decide travel plans.

I'll check Johns journal Sunday night, sometimes he gives a clue what is coming, unless the models are all over the place.

I will be putting something in tonight's journal.

The bottom line is there have been no major changes since Friday's forecast.

Oh, I would see our need for this storm is a major change since Friday. lol!
I do see your point! I'm a parked & next location is back on trailer if this storm fizzles. Vilas trails toast .....in contact with buds east to west all parked on Saturday waiting for Kayla on Tuesday so the need is severe.

Kayla storm tracker

This was the last storm snow prediction image I saw posted.
Looks like Eastern Iowa may fall short with only 4 inches and WI only getting the tip.

After seeing this I could not bring myself to look any more!

Looks like this system is now sliding a bit North from what was previously thought based on what the National Weather Service is saying. Looks better now for the at least part of the Northwoods!
