Floe oil bath hubs

I have a Floe trailer with the oil bath hubs that leak all the time. Anyone have any experience with replacing these with a grease setup?

not sure how they did it but I know 2 guys did swap out with zerk . that system is worthless and cant figure out why they insist on continuing . just try to find replacement parts for that set up in a small mid state Nebraska town .

You could cross reference the seal at a NAPA or other auto parts store. If not mistaken, the shaft diameter/hub I.D. is common to the grease set-up. I have both.

still have the original bearings and seals on a 2004 floe trailer, never had a problem.
the company that made them stopped making them about 3 years ago, parts are no longer available.
now floe uses their new version of greased hubs, i think they are called vortex hubs.
from what I got from floe is if the bearings are still good, you can just pack them with grease and reinstall like normal. with out using oil
and you can just use normal seals and bearings if you need to replace them

I know we ended up packing with grease in a parking lot outside of north plate when we discovered one was empty on a 3 yr old trailer.

I just eyeball the oil level before loading the trailer. Have one now that leaks a bit, but add the 90w oil and go. I'll fix er when its warmer out. At least you can repack with grease and be good to go.
