Well, one of the indications I use to note that spring has sprung is seeing robins. Having breakfast with my kids this past morning near Appleton, my 12 year old son mentioned there were a few robins in the yard. I figured he must be mistaken. So I looked, and they sure looked like robins, grabbed the binocs and took a closer look. Yup - 100% they were robins. A flock of about 10 or so working in the non-snow areas for food. Certainly can't be pulling worms. Just depressing.
