Anyone have any input on the 600 or 800? I am curious on how stiff the shocks and springs are. I am torn between the XCR and the Pro S. Thanks

2 cents; from what I see of real time prices the XCR is $474 more; if you ride harder than the average person I would do the XCR as it has the deeper track (needed for a shorty track), better shocks, stiffer front torsion bar, stronger rails and it looks a **** of a lot better than that ugly blue. As a plus, it has a painted tunnel and a much better color scheme.

I have a 600 XCR and really enjoy the ride. I had a 2011 600 ProR Rush. This sled seems to be on rails in the tight woods and the shock package seems to work great at different trail speeds, family ride or guys ride. I have 1200 miles on the sled and have not had to play with the settings like I thought I would. Top speed so far has been 95. It comes off the start even faster then my 2011 did.

Bear, you correct a few hundred bucks difference here in MN. I do ride hard and and I am 250lbs w/o gear so I thought XCR may be a better fit.
Snohawk-thanks for the info. Is the ride firm at the softer settings or firm no matter where the settings are at?

The ride is firm but better than my ProR was at slower speeds. I have not had time to play with the settings because every time I rode the snow conditions were different.

I could be wrong because I haven't measured them yet, but I think the Pro S has the thicker sway bar than the XCR (same as Pro X). I currently own both a 17 XCR and 15 Pro S, and was considering installing the thicker Pro S sway bar on the XCR...

I have 0 miles on the XCR, I just picked it up last Saturday on a "Fire Sale", have almost 3500 on the Pro S and love that to death! By the way, the XCR does have the thinner Pro X sway bar on it...I check part numbers yesterday..

M&M Lawn and Leisure in Rushford MN, best prices around that I have seen $9160 for the XCR 800, can't beat that! They sold the last 1 on Saturday morning, then come Tuesday they magically have a bunch more?? They are selling the **** out of them that is for sure..

I picked up a 2016 Pro S 800 the other weekend, couldn't pass it up. Looking to get it dialed in for my weight this weekend. I am 250 w/o gear, any suggestions?

Use the center shock preload to balance the forward bite with the rear traction/transfer hookup. I turn at a time.
Start ALL the clickers at center of total clicks available, and adjust hard/soft direction one click at a time, based on conditions. I never have to go more than 1 click from my neutral settings. Incredible suspension/shock package - you will love it.

Are you talking about the rear shock or the front track shock?
I have a 2015, so it may be different, but I'm referring to the shock under the seat, not the one inside the skid/track. I didn't play with the preload on the shock inside the skid at all, (or the front shock preload) only the top one.
Somebody with a 2016 will probably correct me if the suspensions have changed.

Ok that is what I thought. I have also heard most rideer don't mess the front track shock either. Thanks

I just bought a brand new XCR 800 last Saturday. I was on the fence between XCR and Pro S.
I thought the XCR looked little better- only Pro S they had left was white color. I bought it from dealer in Madison.
Everything I've read and watched, it looks like an impressive sled! I'm hoping to at least break it in this year. I have a busy March with work, so might not be able to get out....

I was on the fence as well but got a 16 Pro S on a good deal. I'm sure the XCR will be a blast.

I like the painted tunnel on the XCR, I dislike an unpainted one as they tarnish quickly and look sad.
