They seem to get better mpg's when just riding amongst themselves.Yea, alot a insecure guys will only buy what their buddies have and say is best... it gives them cover for their BS when they throw in the "all my buddies" line....LOL...for example, and I'm paraphrasing from what I've read on the interweb since the etec hit the snow....something like "me all my buddies get 18-20 mpg and we beat everything on the lake while doing it"....LOL
MPGs probably no issue to most riders. To each his own. In Canada this past month we had to run 220+ miles to get fuel due to a reroute, or wait a day and a half. We aren't racers, but we do put on a lot of miles each day. The Doo Etecs do get very good mpg's. Sorry, but is so. Even the 850's would get 15/17. Yes, I ride Doos as they have been good for me.

So even though the Polaris was way better in off trail condition, and said the Doo flat out stinks off trail, the Lester boys couldn't bring themselves to give the title of "RW sled of the year" to Polaris for a 3rd in a row....LOL....spread the love and diversity!

Haha yea good observation with a 144 x 2 inch sled vs a 129 x 1.25 being better off trail haha. Thanks captain obvious. I didnt know your were big into offtrail since you ride a apex lmao.

Lol wasnt my video. The assualt is poos best trail sled so im guessing why thats in there as all the other sleds were 129s haha, so your comment makes no sense lol as the poi was the outlier. Doo gave them that mxzx to start the season and as they mention they have logged thousands of miles on it, most of all the sleds they said. Not one issue. Darn what a junk 1st year sled. Keep trying buildy.

Did they report on the mpg's after break-in? Just curious. Guy I ride with bought a new Cat 600 before a trip this year. It went through gas at first but then got a lot better after break-in.
Not sure why they reported on MPG during break-in.

I have no idea. Didn't buy a high performance sled to give a rip about 2-3 MPG if I did I woulda bought a 600etec or 600ace. But its buildys way of trying to troll even tho most report the etec being slightly better on fuel.

Just curious. They do market it as being better on gas and oil, and I agree most report it as such.

Yes they doo market that way and I def think its accurate for most consumers. The etecs are best at saving fuel at low RPMs or idle. But most know when pushed hard they drink fuel and oil as much as any other.

I know LOL the mxz 129 cant go offtrail and still won, LOL, just imagine if they entered the gade 850 or next year the backcountry 850, going to be unanimous lol, wouldn't be fair. good point!!!
