Mo you sure are all in!! lol... I'm a Bears Fan but a real world show me type of guy. NFL football is a brutal sport and injury could wreck the most promising rookies and FAs. That is why NFL is called not for long. I think Pace has done all he can within the system to try & improve this team but the best of FAs don't want to play for the Bears...hopefully the Bears will start to win and Trubisky is the real deal but just a pipe dream for now for a winning team. I didn't think the Bears were as bad as they seemed but 3-13 is BAD and 500 seems to be a lofty goal for 2017 ....it is feeling more like 3-13 again or maybe 5-11 the competition is better than the Bears appear at this point in the season.

3-13 is bad, but not as bad as it looks face value. All the bears injuries to key positions and given hoyer and barkley were the QB's most of the year im surprised they even won 3. not to mention all the games that were close that poor QB play to end the game cost them. bears were 1-6 in games decided by 8 or less with a hack job QB, Oline and defense. Either way thank god the bears only won 3 games so they could get trubisky!!!!!!!!

Bears were actually in most games only 3 I see that were bad losses

Kinda shocking considering they had no QB, no tackles, no MLB, and NO DB's and really when Jeffrey was hurt a hack job WR group. all of which have been improved for 17.....................................................................................................................................................................................................

Yes it will be nice if he plays to his expectation. Bears have not had a good QB in my lifetime, but like everything it goes in cycles..... time for them to strike gold.

We shall see where the Bears show up in the power rankings in August...I don't expect much with so many new players....sure not a contender. Trubinsky an unknown prolly won't play until late in lost cause year. If Bears are 5-11 that is improvement. I'm interested in which RBs make the team loaded and change coming.... Carey average Langford had an off year Fox likes to have a bunch of Rbs Cohen total change of pace guy 3rd down back, Howard the go to guy and a bunch of rookies and FA backs want a chance to make the team.

RB is the least of the bears concerns....they need good trench play. they have it on D, but offensive tackles need to show improvement as IMO that is the bears current weakest link right next to CB. LBs are very good, Dline is good, safety is much improved, with high hopes for the rookie from bama.

If mike glennon plays well the bears will win games. if he doesn't they wont. it really is that simple. the more help the Oline can give him the easier his job will be. howard will run well but if they cant stop the outside rush you will see happen to him what happened to cutler....gets smoked.....then eventually hurt.

Power rankings mean nothing to me at the beginning of season. Where do you think Atlanta was in power rankings to start last year the team who shoulda won the SB...or dallas.....probably in the 20's. and teams in the top 10 who were poor. the power rankings start to shape up accurately mid-late season IMO

Got to start somewhere in the power rankings then rank positions will sort out as Ws or Ls stack up. I'm curious if the experts think the Bears are improved via Pace player selections sure not the same team as last year. 2016... Madden ranked the Bears as 30th or so & dam he was right!..lol... I'm also thinking we will see new faces at RB to assending players that will push some average RBs out or trade for future middle round draft choices. Yes...Loaded at RB but no idea how good some of these guys are? Howard ran hard in 2016 preseason but no indication he would be great at the time. It will be interesting to watch the RB cut down.

Its easy to predict where the bears will be in PR to start. They have an relatively unknown at QB and a poor season the year before. no one is going to go out on a limb to the public. they will be at best 28 or 29 to start. RB id say is clear cut.... Howard 1, Cohen and Langford 2A and 2B depending on how quick cohen picks up on the offense.

Some say Cohen too small may only be on pratice squad this year or kick returner....IDK when the big guys catch him they will bury him into the turf. I hope Langford returns to rookie running form Carey prolly odd man out as good as he will ever be which is average.

Practice squad? haha that's the first time I heard that......4th rounders aren't drafted with intentions of being on the practice squad......so I highly doubt that is the outcome, it would look horrible for pace. From what I hear he will be the 3rd down back.... Darrin sproles like.

That's the actual line that wont be changing from now till Game 1, created by some extremely complex algorithms and super smart people, much different than a power ranking written by a guy with a journalism degree that's opinion based and varies drastically while also changing weekly.

As I said before you are certainly all in on the Bears and draftees. Cohen has zero carries in the NFL and you are already comparing him to Darrin Sproles. If Sproles draftees were a dime a dozen where are they on other NFL teams?..lol.. Give it time see how drafted players work out in real NFL game conditions. The Bears O is built for popping it up the middle north and south going around the edge has not worked well for their O line. As I said before Cohen has to make the team on a dense and talented RB team. Logicial postion is kick returner no one has that job locked down and Cohen would have to be great to make the team as a 3rd down back when Langford does that as well and runs up the middle too. I don't see Cohen running up the middle he will get killed got to keep him in space to stay alive and no idea if he can catch or hold on to the ball when collabered buy big and fast defenders. Let Cohen do his thing and make the team before comparing him to Sproles. When Sproles was a FA there was not much interest in him...makes you wonder why other NFL teams passed on him?
