Had to wait for plow guy to clear driveway and I to shovel decks and balconies get xtx off trailer. Hit the trails around 1:30PM. Trail 17 from ER to Phelps not groomed and logging full of big holes / bumps so I found away around it. Take Indian Road right at 17 cross to Deerskin Road Left at 4 way stop enter bi pass trail left at Johnson's then bang at gas station and access to North Twin reverse flow to ER. Not legal but Phelps pretty good about using roads to get to trails and Trail 17 main connector to/from ER. I nomally would not mention this but 17 is horrible and roads are ice and snow covered so good detour for MLK weekend. North Twin had a nice soft base for a change so smooth to cross. 6e/w to Lando was very good a little studdered in Phelps territory but smoothed out at 45 Lando part of 6e/w better every mile to Lando. Bought couple of paks of snot mops at Lando rec and visited with Ben and U turned back to Phelps and home. No carbides banging stuff and Snow Trackers were biting so I ripped it had a blast traffic was light but picking up at 4PM MLK and Vintage derby weekend. -1 when i got home but I was not cold at all and it was a very enjoyable 60+ mile jaunt. NBC forecasting 4" Sunday so I'll be back out Monday and the rest of the week with warm up coming Friday. Ride em while we have them!

Diagonal snowfall line was perfectly positioned to give SB the finger as far as this weekend's planned ride.....cabin is sitting in the middle of Haiti like "s***hole" trail conditions ....

enjoy, WD and thanks for the updates (everyone).

JDs graphic was right on for the 5+ snowfall and the east drop off was dramatic with this storm. I'll hang in Vilas for now east and north not so good and the entire area has soooo much logging ongoing makes it really tuff to get thru some areas. Very disappointing and we need a blizzard to turn trails to super highways. Right now WUPMI the only sure thing for good sustained riding.
