Lol. I love it, year after year after year people complain about bumpy trails in the u.p. Well, when the MAJORITY of the midwest has no snow, what do you expect? If i was a land company, i wouldnt want smowmobiles on my logging roads either while there was active logging going on, to many sue happy people out there who dont believe in personal responsibility.
Sounds like you need some new territory to ride....got a WI trail pass?....we might get snow at some point.yea..same o same o..gets old
Except when the logging co and landowner are one and the same in either state, eh? ....Unless the corp receives some sort of sweet land lease deal from the state?I Think Loggers by Law have a lot more to say in MI as far as closing the Trail. " its a old Law"
In Wisconsin there is no Law giving Loggers to right to close a Trail. The Property Owner must close it.
Also the Loggers do not have the same rights as the Clubs and Property Owners in WI. That's why they always post Logging ahead Signs.
Bumpy trails come & go, it's a matter of timing. As Skylar pointed out in a previous post, what do you expect when we are the only area with adequate snow? A lot of folks want to ride and have to take the good with the bad. Snowmobiling is like a box of chocolates, you never know what your going to get till you get out and ride.-Mezz

I agree! Few weeks back hit the muni/Grand Marais. The trail when we headed out in the morning was as flat as glass and perfect. Due to fuel needs, we had to take the same trail back in the late afternoon. 2-3' moguls. Now if I would have reported as I rode, you would have thought it was either all good or all bad. In this case it was some of each, but not due to the clubs, but due to the traffic.
