Buying a 3 place inline trailer soon

I am loooking to get an inline covered trailer, finally retiring the 2 place due to need for more room! What are some recommendations and how much should I expect to pay? I don't need all the goodies on it, just a nice solid enclosed trailer. Aluminum. I don't want a really big trailer either. Want to go as small as I can with 2-3 137" tracks in it. ANY suggestions are welcome.
Thanks JD Folks!

We haul 3 sleds (144, 136 & 121) & have a NEO 7' wide inline trailer that is 23' long (18' box + 5' V). I would not want to go any smaller than that for easy loading/unloading. Don't get me wrong they fit just fine but it's not like there is a ton of extra room like one would think. We load them from the front all facing toward the back door. I am pretty sure all of the 3 place inline trailers are going to be dual axle, but just in case not, you definitely want that. If I were you I would shop around on places like craigslist for something barely used. They are out there but you have to move fast on good deals. I would expect to pay anywhere from $5,500 to $8,500 depending on brand.

Try this, I have had one and put in two Renegades in many times;

I'm in SE Michigan, WI isn't really an option. I probably should have put that in there. Thanks for the info! Plan on going to Novi show this weekend and hoping for a decent deal.

so the 19' you can put 2 Renegades, would it fit 3? At this time, I only have short tracks but that will change in the next few years. Thanks for the help, it is truly appreciated!

Stealth is made in Indiana, gotta be a Dealer near you; just show em the ad and ask for a price match.
Your Dealer can answer the sled configuration question to make you feel comfortable.

I got my Neo from John's trailers. They sold me the model they were bringing up for the show in MKE so they didn't have to haul it back.
They are out of Toledo....419 471 1175

I have the same trailer as jedoyle.... pulls like a dream. I normally carry 2 or 3 sleds. I shoe horned in 4 trail sleds ying yang style one time. 3 121 and a 136

I'm going to throw this in here, when BUYING a trailer and one you most likely will be keeping a LONG time, do yourself a favor, and buy it set up as you WANT IT, that means with the type of tie downs installed you want, on floor and or walls(finished walls too), spare tire holder, shelves or cabinets, its a LOT easier and cheaper in the long run to have them added up front and be DONE, that get it and say
"OH I WISH" I had this or that
the price alone isn't and shouldn't always be the main reason to buy something you pl;an to keep a long time, look at it as an investment and get what you want at time of buying, the extra bucks up front will pay off down the road in time
I know we all have budgets and all, but I find its way better advice to spend maybe more than wanting to to have ALL you want, than wish you had it later, where it will cost a LOT more to have added than if you did it upfront!
food for thought
and I would stick to at least a 18 ft +5 ft V< and even better if you can find a 6 ft V, larger front door/ramp then makes life a little easier, but FEW make em ! unless you have BUILT as an option??

When wondering what will fit in what size trailer, a simple thing to do is get the interior dimensions of a trailer your interested in and tape or chalk your driveway or shop floor. Then roll your sleds into the outline.

Agreed on the options from the trailer builder; they will be installed correctly, usually at the lowest cost and hassle to you and will carry the original warranty.

Yep, did what boyzni stated one time where I threw duct tape on the garage floor & moved sleds around to see if they would fit. I have the short answer though from practical experience -> You need a minimum of 23' total to fit 3 sleds in comfortably all facing the same direction when the trailer is only 7' wide. If you are OK with doing the forward/backward/forward thing then you probably can go smaller but it would be a pain in the rear.

Go 7x23. Can fit 4 155s in there, very tight but doable. Very comfortable to fit 2-3 sleds though on a regular basis. Unless youre constantly pulling 4 maybe 5 sleds 7x23 is the best size imo if you plan to pull 2-3 sleds.

Thanks for the great input! I would definitely set it up right from the get go. Will have a nice 1997 enclosed 2 place trailer soon! Darn kids getting older and riding nicer sleds than me are forcing this decision! It's delaying my new sled by at least a year.

My neighbor has a 7x19 and I’m sure you can only fit two sleds in there. I have a 7x23 and three fit very easily all the same direction. I have fit 4 many times but they had to be two facing forward and two facing back. Last March I put 3 137’s and 1 154.

I have a 7x19 Legend. I currently have a 2016 Renegade and a 2017 Grand Touring in it. There is plenty of room for 2 but I really don't see how you could get 3 in unless there was some stacking going on.

I would steer clear of R&R. Poor fit and finish and their warranty is worthless. I have purchased two brand new trailers from R&R. Never again.

all sleds face back , 2 155 inline , 163 next to them , just not a lot of room to tie them down , plenty of room for gas cans and stuff

For the relatively small difference in price get a 4 place for the extra flexibility. I have a Neo 22' box with a 4' V. The 4th sled is in the V, all 4 loaded from the front.

If you do not trailer very far or your not concerned about fuel mileage....I strongly recommend going 7.5' wide. Its so nice to have the extra width when trying to move through the trailer. Also, if you ever haul a UTV it gives you that much more room to get out of the machine.

I purchased at 7.5' by 14' (w/5' V) from Stealth. I went with the Anniversary model that came loaded up with all of the options (Nobo Floor, finished walls, tie downs, cabinet, extra height, LED lights inside and out and beaver tail rear end). The only option I didn't have them do was the caliper floor mats which I wish I would have. Ended up doing that after the fact.... I love having all the options on the trailer especially the interior and exterior rear lights. Stealth doesn't have the highest end reputation when you check on sites like this but I have been very happy with my trailer so far.

I have a 7 X 19 plus 4 ft V Thunder and I fit 2 121's and a 136 with 6 inches to spare. No problem.
