Here's an idea I've been kicking around for awhile. Between the leaves turning and the first flurries of winter, we've got some time to post up some of our favorite haunts. Initially, we'll focus on your hometown and later expand into trips to your winter destinations. It's an oppourtunity to put in a free plug for a place you enjoy. Depending on the response, we may venture off into other areas of service, but for now we'll stick with the stuff that sticks to your ribs. Let's start things off with Breakfast! Weekdays, weekends, it doesn't matter. What's your favorite place in your hometown for breakfast?

Papa's Cafe. Neenah, Wisconsin.
Nothing too fancy, clean, and some great breakfast foods. Large servings, prompt service, and reasonable prices.​

It's DJ's cafe in St.Germain for me but the bad news it's going to be for everyone as Wolf pack Cafe is for sale and the old 3 C's has closed up. DJ's has an excellent French toast good service reasonable prices. I will have to say breakfast isn't the reasonable meal it use to be though.

AWWWW MAN!!!! say it isn't so! heading up next thursday for long weekend, Wolf Pack was our fav along with 3c's, THAT SUCKS!! Wolf Pack blackened perch and eggs for breakfast was to die for!

Copper Range Depot in Houghton. Wide variety of breakfast foods to choose from. Excellent service, excellent food. I agree with hermi, breakfast food anywhere is not as reasonably priced as it use to be.

There are a few in the Wausau area that I'd recommend. But the best bang for the buck is probably the Edgar Family Restraunt, it's part of the truck stop on Hwy. 29 and H. Very good food and decent prices.

Wolf pack is up for sale but at times it looks like it's open and other times not. So Wolf pack may still be a go. 3 C's was for sale. Sign is gone but there is nothing going on there. It's actually crazy how much is for sale when you look as far as businesses go.

There are a number of places I would recommend. Suomi is definitely one, Lindells & Slims Cafe are others, all of which have great breakfast food & great service. However, the question imposed is, "what's your favorite place?" Copper Range Depot happens to be my favorite.
