Love it, looks awesome!I’m sure many of you saw the crazy 50” snow totals in the central/eastern UP. Here’s a stop sign near Shingleton today!

Love the pics!Few more, check out the road stop sign!! I’d say 1/2 the trails we rode were rough, 1/4 were ok, and 1/4 were excellent. Rode from Munising to Grand Marais area and back. These are typically heavily trafficked, so no surprise there. Especially considering they’ve only had a few days to try to get 4 feet of snow into shape. It only got up to 35 here today, and looks like low to mid 30s all next week here and some snow. They’ll be riding here awhile! Judging by the long range temps up there, I don’t see how the snow in the woods will disappear before memorial dayMaybe you'll be able to take a ride on the 4th of July lol!

Hermie, what town is that pic from?Indy I heard it was pretty crazy with all the sleds. Funny how a lot of people call it a season then they hear about 4' snowfall totals and they drag there iron back out. We rode in the upper Kee today and it must of been busy up that way to. Trails were pretty choppy but better in the afternoon after the groomer hit some of them. The last 3 to 4 miles into Calumet was pretty rough as the groomer didn't go that way. I am really surprised that you can make it through Houghton with no problem, even saw the groomer grooming below the bridge. Pretty impressive for this time of year. Also funny how we get 3' here in st.germain and we think we got a lot of snow then you head up in the lake effect belt and remover what 25' looks like.View attachment 72190 View attachment 72191
Back in the spring/summer of 97, there was still enough snow in the shelter belts in northern North Dakota to run a sled. That was the year of the great flood. It was also the winter where people were naming blizzards like hurricanes.Maybe you'll be able to take a ride on the 4th of July lol!
You would think there is a chance but man that sun is doing its thing. Even up there the snow has shrunk down a lot.Laurium Glacier making it to June this year?
