We really haven't had a measurable snow up here in Vilas County since 1/16 when we got about 12" of snow over a 3 day period. It's been 1-2" and that does add up but now we need a good old fashioned snowstorm to get things back in shape.
I was at my Cabin in Pelican Lake this weekend. The trails were actually ok but we will also need some sort of storm to get it back in shape.

We've got plenty of snow here in the Keweenaw with more on the way tonight through Thursday. Wet heavy system snow with a possibility of some freezing mix to start things off, Yay!!!! NOT!!!! NWS has us under a winter storm warning with 5 to 11" possible along with winds of 30 to 40 mph accompanied by gusts up to 50 mph. I've been watching the models & the GFS & Euro seem to agree to a degree, two other model runs show it just south of the Keweenaw, but, I highly doubt that this is going to miss us.
I have been without my plow buggy for the last month, I am down to a walk behind snow blower, shovel & snow scoop. On top of that, we are running out of places to put it. Hopefully we don't get hammered too bad. I am ready for spring.

Kind of amazing. Approximately, 200 miles in latitude separate us and the ground is nearly bare in our area of Wisconsin. We're certain to have storms and more snow in the remaining months of winter but...no accumulations like you have in the Kee.

Nothing at our house (anymore) in Kaukauna. I'm figuring on staying at our cabin in Pelican Lake and trailering up to probably Watersmeet and riding Saturday. Hoping it will be good.
