    The next Generation

Cant recall the model, but 2001-2004ish Polaris made a mid-size. Perfect sled for that age- about 3/4's size of a regular sled. Always tried to find one for the grandkids and never did. BTW, I'm a SkiDoo guy.

    The good and the bad

Indy, if you ever stop this way, let me know. BTW, I only go out on weekdays. I'm guessing we had 1000 sleds in St Germain this past weekend for the Bikini run. It was also busy in ER.

    The good and the bad

Vilas is holding its own as long as you are in the woods. Not good in towns. The little snow we have been getting is like baby powder. The only thing keeping us going is the base has been solid, but we really need more snow, especially the heavier kind.

    Yellowstone Tour On Sleds

If you have never been, it might be worth it if you want to see sites. I lived in MT and have been in Yellowstone in all 4 seasons and winter was always my fav. That was back when you could take your own tour.

If you have an "in," old conveyor belting works great. Not as good as the Caliber's, but will certainly get you by.

Groomer or Grooming issue north of Mosquito

I meant an extra charge for a trail permit, sorry. After all, if mtn sleds want to run trails and tear them up, then they should pay a little more, with all monies going to clubs. t was just a thought.

Groomer or Grooming issue north of Mosquito

I have run with, and been behind mountain sleds, and yes, they do tear up the trails. Personally, I think anything above 1.5" lugs should be prohibited from trails [exception: to get from one spot to another, but don't know how you police that]. [Maybe a surcharge for sleds with deep lugs.]

Need some feedback on a Ski Doo MXZ TNT 900 ACE

Talked to my dealer yesterday who said there are no 900's available-----all sold out. He said don't expect to see any until next year. As for me, I'll take the 900 Turbo but would settle for a 900.

    Hotrodz n Muscle

Sure wish I had my 1970 Mercury Cyclone Spoiler.---429SCJ w/2 4bbl carbs, hurst 4 speed. I could still get rubber in 4th gear. Only 1631 were built and only 341 with that engine. Only 13 were built like mine. I miss that car. Built for NASCAR right off the showroom floor with few changes...
