    Yamaha Ventures 2013 VS 2001

Agree with both hybrid and whitedust! something is not right with the triple for sure and may be something as simple as a fouled plug and would explain only being able to hit 55 and using a lot of gas you should be able to add 45 mph to that number. you could start the sled and one by one...

    Early Season Fatality

There was just a blurp on our local fox 6 this morning, DNR asking people to be careful to prevent fatalities. Thoughts and prayers for the victims, families and loved ones and yes...Lets be safe out there...PLEASE!

Polaris 600 top end power loss

I would think weak or loss of compression would wield its ugly face at start up and idle, if it starts fine and idles fine especially after warm up I wouldnt think compression would be to blame because you would see starting and idle issues first before loss of power at top end, especially that...

Groomer or Grooming issue north of Mosquito

Skylar, thank you for that! it sounds like a grooming timing and traffic issue which makes sense and I agree daytime grooming makes no sense especially on high traffic or just weekends in general. I'm sorry this post turned into finger pointing and putting blame on riders and based on what type...

    Klim or Castle heated gloves

Thank you again for all the information and input, I have decided against hard wired gloves for a few reasons and as far as battery ones I am going to order a pair of FXR, seems everyone is happy with theirs, has all 5 star reviews and sounds like a good warranty and a company who stands with...

    Klim or Castle heated gloves

this was also my other concern with wired gloves, hooking it up to battery if you start drawing more than the engine is replacing you could end up with issues...I think. Heating elements generally draw more than other accessories and if you are running grips, lever heated shield, could open up...

    Klim or Castle heated gloves

all this information is great! sounds like pro's and cons both ways, the wired ones only concern me as now you have more cables hanging around along with helmet cable and would be afraid adding a liner inside the glove would make it too bulky but on the other hand the "claimed" battery life by...

Groomer or Grooming issue north of Mosquito

old abe, I agree with you 200% and this is the point I was trying to make as you stated " I would venture to say that there is just as much traffic to, and from the Bug Bar towards Twin Lakes and Greenland? Just my experience" and that is spot on! and why then the dividing line? you cant blame...

    Klim or Castle heated gloves

My wife and I like to put on the miles, not uncommon for 200 - 250 mile day, I appreciate the unput as they claim for up to 6 hours and it looks like the gloves heat the top of hand and the fingers, just seems like the answer outside of gauntlets. Thank you gpt I appreciate it!
