    Inline trailer loading

If you are trying to get the most sleds in you should load from the front to the back, otherwise it doesn't matter very much

What Will You Be Riding This Winter?

I sell trailers for a living now and we order most of our sled trailers without the fuel doors, and don't do the roof vents on any of them.

What Will You Be Riding This Winter?

I got my snow checked 2023 Polaris 850 Assault last February so I am going to ride that one at least two more years. I don't have many pictures of it but here is one when I got a little stuck last March

    10-31-23

We got another two inches last night, the snow we got last Friday is still all here except on the roads. High of 22 today and getting into the low teens tonight, it isn't going anywhere soon.

According to the NWS we received 5.8 inches but a lot of it melted as it came. The temps for the next week are going to be highs in the 20's and lows in the mid to low teens so it will stick around for a while. I still have about 70% of my leaves still in the trees so I hope it all melts and we...

It has been misting/raining here since last evening but is now changing over to snow. The weather service is calling for 4-7 inches for us, I know about 100 miles west of us they have gotten up to a foot so far in some places. I will update tomorrow with what our total is.

Springs or torsion for an in-line trailer

In our area we sell a lot of trailers that work for both sleds and UTV's so they need extra height, we get a lot of wind and with the extra height and the torsion axles the trailers sway more with a cross wind unless you do a spread axle option, and hitch height is more critical with torsion...

    What, no talk? no speculation?

I agree Indy, the past is littered with new models that didn't live up to all of the hype from all manufacturers. I hope it is a home run but until the sleds are in the consumers hands for at least a year I don't get to excited. I do know that living about 50 miles from the Arctic Cat plant and...

    Biwabik MN

I've ridden in Northern MN since the mid 60's, have never been stopped for speeding, I have had my sled license checked twice, and have ridden many miles well over the speed limit. I do know of a few people that have gotten tickets but they usually gave one ticket and told them to split the cost...

    Biwabik MN

I have never ridden right around Biwabik but have done a lot of riding in the Tower, Cook, and Orr area a little north of there. Some areas are a little remote which I like, the traffic is low, and the trails are nice. You could probably do a longer day ride up to Voyaguer's Nat'l Park one day...

Finally some real EV/Truck stats and...... WOW!!!

A guy that I know has a repair shop in Grand Forks next to a Tesla charging station, I asked him if he sees many cars using it and he told me usually one or two a day when he is at work but a while back there was a Tesla towing a small boat and he went over and talked to him. The guy was from...

    April 20

7" in Grand Forks yesterday and last night, it would have been quite a bit more but for about the first 10 hours it all melted as it came down. That puts our yearly total at about 85" which is in our top four at least. What made this winter different is that our first snow in early November was...

3 Old Guys Ride to Alaska

I am pretty sure it is Rob Hallstrom's daughter that is doing most of the Facebook posting. It was brought up a couple days ago on the local news segment of the Gutfeld show on Fox News.

    04/05/2023

It started snowing yesterday afternoon and it is just flurries now. I would say we got between 10 and 12 inches. Our snow finally started to melt last Friday and again on Sunday but I still have about 3 feet in my yard. Here are a couple of pictures of a table and chair in my backyard, one taken...

The Season in Review with Pictures

I have ridden 8 days so far this winter and have about 1075 miles on, went on a club trip in NW MN in January, rode twice from home in February, mostly in ND, and rode 3 times in March. We still have lots of snow so I hope to get out at least a couple more times in April to ride cross country in...

3 Old Guys Ride to Alaska

I remember that group, three of us rode from Grand Forks to Lake Metigoshe on a Friday and we were getting fuel in Langdon and the first group pulled into the gas station as we were leaving. The south ditch on Hwy 5 was freshly groomed from Langdon to Rock Lake and we were the first ones on it...
