    Image Size Help

What's the maximum photo size that can be updated? I tried uploading a photo but I get a error stating it's too large. I was quite surprised by this considering the image was only 3MB. Majority of any forums I've used, will convert the image to a smaller size automatically.

    Under the bubble once again

Frustrating!! Agreed about the small snow storms. The biggest snow storm we had in the last decade was the April snow storm back in 2018. Such a waste. I saw some headlines on this storm stating it will cause headaches for majority. I laughed. The people that need it and are prepared for it...

Is it Ever Going to Snow Again?

I was up there 3 weeks ago. At that time, Sawmill saloon in Seeley was closed due to staff having covid. There was one other place outside of town(sorry I cannot remember). It was all just temporary, so should be good now. I guess you never know which ones could be shut down though. East of...

    Are trails being refreshed enough

I was up in Oconto county last weekend. Stayed in Oconto Falls with some family. We mostly rode the southern part of the county. I was able to ride out of their house to avoid trailering. I was surprised how well those trails were. Little thin by Stiles and Lena, but got better the more north...

Any info on Polaris sled shipments?

We're dealing with the same thing. We manufacture commercial HVAC sensors. We are having huge issues getting our electronic assemblies. These are made in MN, but the PCB house has a couple other factories in the states. Lead times are all over the place. We never know when we will be getting the...

    Mother nature.... WHAT GIVES??!!!

You guys had an excellent season last year! Just can't count on it every year. In south central WI(Columbia), we have not had a good rideable January in over a decade. It goes north or south. Last year it went south. It seems the snow comes in February now for us. Weather patterns will change again.

Recommendation of place to stay with family

I just got back from Hayward area. We stopped at Lakewoods on Friday. With so many different trail options, it spreads the traffic out. We didn't get to the area till noon on Friday. Rode till 10pm that night. I maybe counted 25 sleds throughout the day! I'm sure the extreme cold played into...

    Milwaukee Snowmobile Show

I went. I didn't have high expectations though. None of my buddies went. Still good to get the kid out and see some snowmobile related items. People and vendors were definitely down. We still had a great time though! I needed a new trailer cabinet and sled lift. I got both of those items for...

Snowmobile Fire - Land O Lakes

Coming back Friday night, I encountered a snowmobile on fire on the trail. They got it pulled of the trail just enough. About 6 miles south of Land O Lakes. 6S on the power lines, just south of E. Everyone was ok. Fire department was on the way when I left.

Share your Pictures - With Area

I got my 20 month old for two small trips. 17 mile and 20 mile trip. Taken last weekend in Portage county. The lookout was from "Baldy" Mountain on 160 in UP close to Saxon Harbor. The single sled pic was from around Tiffany, southeast of Janesville. Not every year I can ride from top...

    GPS on sleds

I use a Garmin Drive 60LM, VV mapping and RAM Mount Universal X-Grip IV Cradle. Last season was first year I used it. Worked great! I siliconed the edges to make it waterproof. I use a aftermarket USB cable. Issue with factory Garmin cable is GPS thinks it's in USB file transfer mode. I use...

    Northern WI Storms

Amazing to see some of those pictures. Storm didn't seem to get much press. Must have been enough bad sh*t going in the news to take precedent. Take a look at these stats: The NE Wisconsin July 19 blow down affected over 150 sq miles, flattening hundreds of thousands of trees. The 23 tornadoes...

    A Day for the Dogs

Madison does something like that every year. I've never gone, but pretty good turn out. We adopted Bailey 3 years ago. She's a rottweiler/Sheppard mix. She was a rescue. She loves life on the water! My wife wanted to foster dogs, and I agreed. We agreed upon 1 every 6 weeks. A lot of them...

Gogebic, Copper Harbor and Everything in Between

That's the only rough/mogul part I encountered when I was up there from 1/29 - 2/1. Sunday night was like that, but was much better when I went through on Tues, 1/31(4pm). Thanks to all the groomers indeed!! Only 20 "rough/ moguls" miles, out of 500 miles! Fantastic, unbelievable conditions, and...
