    3/16

3.5" so far in Duluth. The big snow totals have been severely downgraded, so I don't think we're likely to get much more.

    Northshore conditions?

I agree that Iron River is a good place to stay. The Lumberman's Inn is right on the Tri-County Corridor. There is also a small motel in Brule, just a few miles west of Iron River.

    3/9

I was on the trails between Brule and Iron River, WI this morning and they were pretty amazing. Good coverage for this time of year with no observable sun burn-throughs. Even the road crossings I saw were great. 35F and cloudy now.

mike1970, the closest location I could find was Shell Lake (just a few miles south of Spooner). As of 9:20am, the NWS reports 9.4".

    Feb 22 snow

About 9" reported in Delta this morning (between Iron River and Ashland, WI). One report of 26" in Benoit, WI (just a bit west of Ashland), but I'm wondering if someone was measuring in a drift!

Hayward Lakes Area-Sawyer County Trial Conditions

This is Birkie weekend, too, so I suspect road crossings and the like will be a bit busier than normal?

    How’s this for you guys

Where is that? I have a cabin in Bayfield County (by Iron River) and I heard we got a few inches. Lovemydobe also lives near Iron River. Some days I'm amazed at how little traffic there has been this winter.

Are you old enough to have had a GOOD Tombstone pizza?

I tried a small sample of pizza in Kwik Trip a while back. Presumably that was a Pothole pizza? It was very good.

    Yeah, Pep's is definitely good.

Are you old enough to have had a GOOD Tombstone pizza?

Lol, I don't mind Domino's. It's not as good as Tombstone, IMO.

Are you old enough to have had a GOOD Tombstone pizza?

I imagine I would've had my first taste of Tombstone as a kid in the 1980s. I still love it today, though; it's easily my favorite frozen pizza.

3 day weekend for many of you......HOWEVER....

I saw a few sleds near Brule, WI. Road crossings looked pretty good and also saw the groomer about mid-afternoon. However, there was a light rain most of the day. (No ice as far as I could tell, however.)

    Hayward Area..Dining?

As I recall, the third largest musky ever caught is mounted in the Moccasin Bar right next to downtown (this may or may not be of interest to you). Also, Coop's Pizza is absolutely one of my favorites.

    Hurley to Ashland, WI?

Yes, I remember seeing snowmobiles and ATVs coming out of the trail into the casino/gas station parking lot. I assumed it was a formal/sanctioned trail, but I don't know for sure.
