    If it rains today....

It's not my business how much somebody spends or doesn't spend...I do not, and can not control that...for every jerk there 10 who are awesome....there is nothing worse than folks who come up here thinking us locals would starve without them (and it simply isn't true)...that attitude pisses...

    Tomahawk Area 2-28

And the fat lady is warming up....LINCOLN COUNTY just closed zones 2,3, and 4..only zone one remains open.....there is still alot of snow in the woods, and they are definitely rideable...but the railroad grade is shot...and the lakes have some slush on them...but the wet, slushy areas are...

    If it rains today....

And I could give zero f how much they spent to get here, or stay here...thats on them....of course they don't give a f about the base...they are weekend warriors..not true snowmobilers...and have no vested interest in the trail system...they are just here to use and abuse em..(abuse their livers...

    Tomahawk Area 2-28

The club knows about it...unfortunately they are told to plow the banks back this time of year for plowing...the driver though could have lifted his plow where the trail crossed...no reason to berm it like that....we do have some plow nazis that hate snowmobiles up here...I think they are the...

    If it rains today....

Way different story up there...triple the snow where u were riding...we had about a 3 inch base....30 miles north of us it doubles...and yeah..if you blow the base off a trail this time of year, it's toast for the rest of the season...call me selfish...but I'd prefer not ride in the rain and in...

    Tomahawk Area 2-28

Right now freezing rain .. About a quarter of an inch accumlation...terrible roads...supposed to change to rain later this morning...about an inch of rain expected...hopefully people are smart enough to park their sleds when it starts raining, so we can preserve our base a bit...rain, 40...

    If it rains today....

GET OFF THE TRAIL!!! All you will be doing is destroying what little base we have...go out to eat, or visit the local watering holes...but park your sleds, until it passes.....some of us would like to ride until the bitter end...if we can preserve the base...we can....colder weather, and the...

    Polaris 2023

I have only seen published dry weights by brp and polaris (no independant weigh ins)...if they are true...the polaris is 120lbs more , and 10 HP less.

    Tomahawk Area 2-28

Yes...the forecast has me very concerned...praying this storm moves a bit further south...and everything north of hwy 8 stays in the snow bands...then things could be really nice....however ...if we get rain...it's gonna screw everything up, the lakes will be a slushy mess.....and the worst...

    Polaris 2023

I know I owned several...yamaha makes great engines (have always said that)...what they have NEVER done is build a sled that rides or handles worth a chit...that vector/nytro/viper motor is a great engine....they just didn't ride or handle like a DOO....we can't keep a 900 or any of it's turbo...

    Polaris 2023

yes I think we all know yamaha could cover the 4 stroke market with a NA 998, and a low boost 998...and they already had their electronic throttle, and it worked well (very well calibrated, better than ski doo's itc IMO)...but will they do it? highly unlikely...polaris's 4 stroke is an...

    Polaris 2023

Hmmm...why is a 137 a no go? Just curious as it's only 2 lugs more on the ground than a 129....the 4 strokes have better balance, and ride in the longer chassis.

abe...those trails will be better than the Tomahawk area...with far less traffic...they also have better snow up there

    Tomahawk Area 2-28

Extremely busy weekend with HEAVY traffic again.....warm weather in combination with the heavy traffic...hurt the trails over the weekend...the wooded trails east of town in Harrison Hills, and the trails west and northwest of lake nokomis....held up well...the further north and west u get from...

    Tomahawk area 2/22

We did get just short of 5 inches today, after getting an inch overnight...and its still snowing as of 945 pm...I took a little ride to check out the trails, and they look real good...some had even been groomed already...I was really starting to think the storm was a bust as it didn't really...
