    Retirement Scenario

Just trying to stay healthy, my wife is doing great as well, got off sugar and lost a bunch of weight. It’s just a commitment, we both lost our fathers when we were young. Want to be around to spend time with this little guy. He was born Wednesday!

    Retirement Scenario

Here is our experience, as you know we live in MW, it’s 45 minutes to Minocqua where they have 2 hospitals, same up to Ironwood, MI. They are decent facilities, surgery, colonoscopy, etc. Keeping a steady doctor is the issue, I’m on my 2nd cardiologist, and am happy with him, lives in the area...

    Who's Been Out

I did mount it with the linq system. I had the box and thought it was perfect size so I retrofitted it and added the linq hardware. I can lock it and keep spare gloves, etc in it as well.

WINTER STORM WARNING FOR THE KEWEENAW

Hermie, it’s just been a bad season as you know. Even with 8” Monday I thought about just taking a ride down the road but the road had so much slush snow it would be like riding across a lake and slipping off the hard pack trail. Not worth it in my opinion and the trails would have big water...

    Retirement Scenario

It’s funny, I work a lot, as some of you know I built a garage mostly by myself last summer and fall. I look at it as fun work, things I like to do. But, I am also pretty much retired and this is our only residence now. It’s not for everyone,

I kinda think the riding is over for the season. Unless you go to the mountains.

    3-25

Raining moderately this morning, I think we have caught up in the moisture department. If this were winter I’d be bummed out to get that much snow one day and it’s mostly gone the next day.

    3-25

We actually got 8” in MW, I used my snowblower for only the 4th time this winter. Heavy wet snow, sheared a pin on the right side, pulled in to the nice warm garage and 15 minutes later was back in business. It rained during the day and it’s now about 4” on the ground. I thought if we would have...

Winter Storm Warning for 3/24 and 3/25 Northern Wisconsin

Jim, I’m happy for you as people that live up here need to get away from the long winter. I know this, the warmth and sun is good for us. I only want it to replenish the moisture up here as it is very dry. Enjoy your time away, I’ll post the details, we are leaving Tuesday for Naperville to see...

Winter Storm Warning for 3/24 and 3/25 Northern Wisconsin

Northern Wisconsin, going to be a mess, this late in the season. They are saying 8-11", we need the moisture. I think it will melt pretty fast.
