What amount of miles on a sled scare you?

I sold a 2016 Pro S 800 a few months ago with 5600 miles. I could tell the same sleds with under 5000, but close to that were getting more action. I was still happy with what I sold it for.

Sled accident in Vilas, at Plum Lake.

This guy might be a local that my wife knows a little (not 100%) she actually talked to me last night about selling the sleds until we get a place up north and time to only ride early/mid week. We only have about 600 miles on this season and the amount of people that we crossed paths with that...

Enclosed trailer purchase.. looking for help

Same here, I wanted a Triton when I bought in 2017 but they were over 2k more than a Legend. Triton was bought out not long ago so I would want to take a good look at one before buying it. I really liked their frame design.

    Rock wool insulation

I did a remodel last year and the customer wanted Rock wool, I was very impressed. If you're that anal about air sealing make sure your exterior is finished before you insulate. I have found a few good air leaks from "air nails" from siding or other things on the exterior. Also like said...

    Pricing

sometimes you have to start looking around September, that is when I bought my last leftover. I was looking at dealer inventory the other day online, man Polaris sure got proud with some of their prices. I would think they will have some in the fall

    3.0 Baby Duramax

I work with a few people who have them and they all talk about getting great MPG, same thing with the Ram Eco, I can't believe they are discontinuing that engine. I just bought a 2022 HD model, Im also concerned about the reliability of having a "covid" vehicle, you hear bad things about all of...

Are you old enough to have had a GOOD Tombstone pizza?

I remember eating Roma pizza when i was a kid and thinking it was good, then they went downhill. I think it was called Magic Crust? I see guys all the time spending their Menards 11% on groceries, some of the prices are pretty good.

Enclosed trailer purchase.. looking for help

I bought a Stealth in 2015 and realized the build quality was ROUGH, I found beads that were not even on the joint completely. Sold it and bought a Legend. I do agree that some of the older Legends do look a bit better built. I think Featherlight are some of the best I have seen, they are...

    Biggest year in modern snowmobiling

I'm also voting REV/rider forward. I doubt i would be riding anymore if i was on a old school sled

More Black Eyes on the Sport

We now try to hunt for the bars that are not the snowmobile hot spots just for this reason. I swear the average snowmobiler's IQ points go down as the group gets larger. We were in a nice quiet establishment last week when a large group of guys came in that were in their 50's and 60's. none of...

    Another Helmet Question

They are definitely a overpriced POS for what they cost, but they work damn well! We rode Thursday and Friday all day, I would have been miserable in any of my previous helmets. Some insane mark up and profit margins on Gear and accessories . I remember trying to get the OEM Cigarette lighter...

    Best fitting helmet.....oxygen

My Oxygen helmet has been the first snowmobile helmet I have been happy with in my 30 years of riding. I also have a large head

    CBD....please explain....LOL

Next time your in the UP swing in and buy some thc edibles and experiment with them when your at home, they are great for pain. They do just as good as some of the lower end prescription pain meds and are probably better for you. Better for you than booze too. That stuff tears you up as you get...

Pine Lake Lodge Mission Helmet swapped out and taken

I thought about looking for a light gauge cable lock to loop around two helmets with the money we spent on oxygen helmets. It would at least avoid the intoxicated honest mistake situation.

    To Scratch Or Not?

My wife and I were up in Iron County years ago when the trails were ice. I had scratchers because i had a SBA, her Indy was running warm. I ended up having to ride hers and using my feet to cool it down. Of course every dealership around was sold out because others were having the same issue, so...

    Cold/Flu bummer

I did get the Jab and I'am starting to regrett it because of what you said. I was never isolated, but I don't work with many people. Most of my exposure to the sickneses are from my rugrats. I have always been able to eat, drink and use vitamins to shorten stuff or avoid it, not working this year.

    Cold/Flu bummer

I'm on week 6-7 of on and off hacking and head congestion. the first 3 weeks I would cough so hard sometimes that I would get light headed. 2 rounds of antibiotics and I can't seem to shake it. I also had constant sinus and ear infectectons in the spring. This is the first time in my life that...
