I was just curious if you guys think Yamaha will put the 850cc Crossplane Triple in a snowmobile?? I think ski-doo has hit a home run with their 900 ace....and I would think Yamaha would be wise to build a smaller triple 4 stroke, around 100 HP to cover the lower end of the market...I could see...

Have you noticed all the new products over the past 5 years to keep us snowmobilers warm?? Helmets are far superior to what I used to wear...no such thing as heated shields...I didn't know what handwarmers were until 1992....the jackets, and bibs are warmer, and lighter...the boots are also...

Unfortunately..... the hunt will continue...3 of our area reps tried to get the DNR to close the bonus hunt north of hwy 64...they asked the DNR to enforce an emergency measure to cancel it before it begins...the DNR said no...its too late....believe it or not it was hunters who asked for...

On lake nokomis .......and there are 5 more near the old mistletoe bar/ fishbones (about 75 to 100 yards off shore.) Ice fishermen I talked to said 4-6 inches in the bays. Sorry...phone sux.....but here is a pic
