Keep any eye on western cams and snotel sites over the next few day as things could get interesting. I see fresh snow in the Lolo and Cooke cams as well as more and Wow it looks like Teton Pass is getting hammered!
Togwotee is white, Cooke is White, Lolo looks to have a touch of snow, White out at Teton Pass, dusted at West Yellowstone and a hopefull person banging on the Keyboard at home! Anyone else feel like a teenager this year waiting for the snow???
Just got the trio ready to go for the season. 2003 WR450F Dual Sported, 2004 CRF250X also with plate and the new to me 2002 KX250. The KX was a basket case and has now been rebuilt. Ended up being a money pit but hopefully it is ready to run a few Hare Scrambles this year!
Depending on snow conditions you may be able to ride from the Lodge. From the Lodge to the riding is probably 10 to 15 miles. We rode from the Lodge for 3 days then put them on the trailer for the 7 mile drive to the parking lot. The riding is from 5300 to about 7000 in a few secluded area's...
I thought after going to Cooke that I would be dissapointed by Lolo. Far from that! The riding is awesome! The Breeze was out two weeks before myself and had epic snow conditions! It is the time of year for hero snow or mashed potatoe snow though. We found a couple spots that were like golf...
Head out to Lolo Pass MT. Was very suprised with the area and there is stuff to make any rider happy! From gradual slopes with few tree's to steep and deep! Stay at the Lodge at Lolo Hot Springs and you will be set. 87" base on the snotel and more at and above 6,000'. Clutch for 6,000 give...
I woke up this morning and what did I see? 4 inches of freshies on the ground in front of me! What a great way to bring in the New Year! Talking almost double that for toppings in the next 24.
It's about time y'all, so fire up them sleds as Vilas County is rolling once again!
Just wondering if there will be gas in Silver City this year. Was thinking that I heard the Silver Sands Motel had been purchased? Not sure! The Konteka in White Pines of course is a good option just wondering if anyone has some new news?
Lookin good Tom. Like the intro as well and see that you guys have stepped it up over the years! Nice, nice, nice! Really like the pole mount footage! Got mine all set and ready to go once we get some snow!
Just got back from a vacation to the Hatfield McCoy Trail systems in West Virginia. What a blast. We rode the Rockhouse, Pinnacle Creek, Indian Ridge and Little Coal trails. All are excellent systems if you are ready for some pretty crazy riding. On an ATV things are much easier but loose...
Why is it everytime I get on a forum I see contraversy? Not between different groups with different interests but between what is suppose to be a proud group of sled heads! If or lets say when groups against us take a peak at these posts and forums they must get a kick out of how we are...
Just browsing around as usual and out of no where I see that cafe Press has an add on the site sporting some of my stuff... The Wannabe Sleddin' stuff on www.Cooksend.com has been selling great lately! Thanks to Cafe Press and John Dee! Sorry if I violated any rules of the site, was just...
Hey guys we have the New 800 E-Tec Ski Doo's at TrackSide for demo this weekend as well as a few other model sleds! Swing buy for a no strings attach ride on the latest and greatest from BRP...
See you here...
Sincerely, Greg Cook
Went north today with a couple boondockin' greenhorns (father and son) to show them a good time! Did the typical powerline blast then off to some little play spots! They did great. A bit of hillclimbing and some jumping per Eric's request.
Just wanted to say thanks for a good ride!!!
