    Are You A Collector?

Do you have a collection of anything. Old gas station signs, bar mugs, oil cans, etc., or maybe just a hoarder. I have a baseball cap collection, over 300 caps. I haven't really been collecting now for a number of years, but still have the caps. If someone was an avid cap collector, I would be...

    Outdoor boiler

Hi John, You had been telling me how much you like your outdoor boiler, but I don't remember what brand you have. I am just thinking about them, and maybe getting one some day. Could you tell what brand you have? There are so many that are not efficient, and that won't be ok with me. I would...

    Woodsplitter Advice Wanted

I am considering buying a woodsplitter by next fall. I have been renting one, which means that I need to move a bunch of wood in one day as to save money on the rental. The rental is a horizontal, heavy duty, home-made splitter. I think I would like to get a horizontal/vertical model so I don't...

Kyle Busch is at it again!

Did you see what this idiot did in the truck race Friday nite. Actions like that get people killed. Nascar did right by parking him for the weekend, but I sure hope his penalty is alot stiffer than sitting one weekend out. A monetary fine won't mean much to a rich punk like that, it has to be...

Cool stuff you purchased please share!

I got a new/used miter saw this weekend. It's in really good condition, and I'm sure the fine gentleman that I got it from really took good care of it. From the looks of his shop, he really has some nice stuff. I was a little envious.

Does anyone camp this late in the season, or are you done? We are going today, for the weekend. Probably our last trip for the year, but maybe one more in a couple weeks.

    New Bosch Miter Saw?

John, Did you see the new miter saw that Bosch has? Instead of the dual rods for a slide, it has a pivoting arm. Suppose to be alot more accurate. When I read about it, they said it had a retail of $800, ouch. The mag. that it was in claimed it to be the best. -Jon

Cool stuff you purchased please share!

It started it's life as an ice fishing shack. Now it is a playhouse for my boys. Years from now when they outgrow it, I can resell it again as an ice shack.

    Let's All Band Together......

Maybe if we all band together and nicely ask John to change his forecast to cooler weather this HOT crap will go away. I for one am sick of this heat, and I'm ready for some cooler temps. So lets all get together and ask John for some cooler temps. John, would you please make this heat go away...

    Someone has to start this......

Lets here your favorite place to camp, and why. For us it is the Big Eau Pleine County Park. Located about 10 miles from Mosinee,Wi. We like the big, wooded sites. About half with electricity, no water. Nice area for the kids to play, lots of trails and wildlife. Not the greatest for swimming...

Electronic Air Filters For A Furnace?

Does anyone use an electronic air filtering system on your heating/ air condition system? What are your feelings on how good it works? How often do you have to change the filters and how much are they? We have wood heat, and air, and are considering this type of unit. Everything about it sounds...

    Let's See Your Shop/Man Cave/ Garage

I always enjoy seeing what others have for their shop/ man cave. Let's see where you guys do you tinkering, or work, or just your place to get away from the day-to-day grind. This is my place to get away from everything if I just need a break, or if something brakes. It is simple and I don't...

What do you use for a sandblasting media? Is there a less expensive alternative? I have a hard time spending $40 for something that is just going to end up in the gravel.

    Skunk Smell Remedy?

So in my attempt to get rid of a skunk this morning, it decided if it was going to die, it would die (and stink) under my deck. Originally the smell was so bad that it gave me the dry heaves carrying the skunk away. It's not that bad now, but still not too good. Anyone have a good home remedy...

    Removing Stumps Naturally?

I have a couple of stumps that need to go. I cut them off low and flat, and cut a bunch of slits in them to hold the rain water. Is there something else I can put in the slits to speed up the rotting process that is not harmful to 2 little boys and a fur-lizzard? I was thinking salt, maybe. Any...
