155 is realistically not that hard on a snowmobile engine though. Won’t do any damage until you’re north of 200. Polaris almost does more harm than good by letting us stare at that number all day :)

Every sled with the cable style that I’ve seen, they end up loosening up and falling off over time if you keep them down 24/7 no matter how much loctite you use. And the wire type, can’t hold up to constant abuse either, will wear down fast or snap off. They are meant for “only use when needed”...

Can’t wait to hit that area in 10 Days! Praying for a little fresh snow even if it’s just a couple inches. Hoping for no sloppy weather next week.

No personal report but I’ve been reading it’s rideable and fair. Better the farther Northwest you head from that area.

Well, didn’t initially plan to let this one go when I purchased the G5, but the UP is 2 feet away from being able to ride the trees and there’s no cold temps to create any LES in the next couple weeks, meaning no December or January rides this winter. I’d be lucky to get 2 or 3 day rides on it...

The kit always had 3.5 qts as that is what the 900 ace requires, but that’s puts you in the middle of the min/max dipstick level. Wish they’d just give you 4

Played around with the oxygen, exome, bv2s, and ckx mission at the dealer today. All seem to have more gadgets and buttons than I’d prefer to mess with. I must be getting old!

Currently rocking a Klim Kaos for trail riding. Kind of wearing close to a full size up, making it a little thicker/bulkier than preferred. It is also warmer than I prefer, but I got it half off so I’ll make due. I prefer something a little thinner that I can layer underneath on cold days.

Interesting to hear… don’t ride that area much and never realized how much of big snow country is inaccessible due to bad river until I looked at a map a week ago… what a shame, all that snow…
