The snow has increased & been steady for the last hour & a half, this after hearing a revised snowfall amount of 1-3" through Sunday, go figure. Mother Nature is a fickle mistress.

Not here, pretty strange that we have only received 1 1/2" since yesterday. Light snow now with a current temp of 13 degrees. Snow is supposed to taper off through the weekend, so nothing to write home about in the fresh pow department here.

Here in the Keweenaw we have only received an additional 1/2" as of early this morning. Total of 1 1/2" since yesterday. Currently snowing lightly with a balmy temp of 13 degrees. I don't see much in the way of accumulation happening here through the day much less into the weekend as the snows...

At least someone is getting it.

We have 1" of new since yesterday..... It doesn't look like much today through Saturday at the moment, maybe 3-5" in that timeframe.

This differs between meteorologists, they can't seem to be on the same page at any given time. I will say that it looks like Ontonagon, Twin Lakes area and Eastern UP look to get the most at this point. How much for us will remain to be seen.

At this time, there is no indication of anything significant by way of snowfall. Colder, yes, significant snow, not yet, but, things can change.

Keep in mind, the model runs are in part simulations of weather patterns based on past patterns as well as current actual data which includes upper atmosphere temp & winds & barometric pressure. Hundreds of simulations can be run for each individual model based on all of this information, this...

There has been a fair amount of activity, not crazy crazy, but busier.

124 is closed until 1/15/2025 due to logging. 133 was cleared to open on Dec 19th, however, due to the many wet areas is currently not rideable until we get more cold & snow. With that in mind, the next 4-5 days look to have temps in the mid to upper 30's to near 40 with rain forecasted tonight...

I think I would prefer to be in your position as far as the amount of snow is concerned. We are also expecting rain here in the Keweenaw, between 1/2 to 3/4" worth through Saturday. This combined with temps in the upper 30's to near 40 through the first half of next week. Cooler temps possible...
