Round 1, a hit and miss.

Normal snowy winters, I never worried about it, but this ain't a normal year. I think you convinced me to spent a few bucks now instead of a couple hundred later, when I go up next week I'll pick some up.

I can't remember what year it was, maybe mid - late 90's, but there was a lack of snow in Florence county and my septic tank froze. I hired a guy to put steam under a blanket like grave diggers do so they can dig frozen ground. Looks like some serious cold on the way without insulating snow...

In Florence, ferns are turning brown, tall maples turning yellow/orange/red. Ferns are first to go and are a dead giveaway.
