Just saw on FB, Blue Ox Club in Florence lost their insurance and stopped grooming. Anybody have any ideas? I would think the insurance company would just raise the cost, not cancel.

My place is a couple of miles from dfattack in Spread Eagle and been riding there for 15 or so years and don't recall ever seeing one ute or atv on trail, seen a few ruts a couple of times near the flowage made by ice fishermen, even seen tracks made by 4x4 trucks. Same with Dungood, I think...

Had to go to Calumet and Fitzgeralds yesterday by car, Trailside was packed and trails from the road looked real good, no scratchers needed.

I'm guessing 8 miles or so East of Crystal Falls there is a nasty water hole, actually a small stream running across trail. Based on 8" thick chunks of ice hanging on trees the water dropped about 2 feet.

5 from Champion to Big Bay was perfect both directions, both "lanes" done. Well done 550 and Moose!

Looks like another decent storm ain't going to happen. Hopefully in a few hours John will say otherwise. Has anyone ever seen NOAA calling for 2"-4" and ya get 7"+, calling for 3"-5" and getting 8"+,,,,,,, I only see the opposite! Frustrating !!!
