Wonder if they’ll offer snowcheck and financing options? Lol

Tomahawk to clam lake by snowmobile

130 miles in 3 hrs? I’m thinking more like 6 or 7, with 1 or 2 gas stops and figuring out where to go at intersections. Plus likely a food stop.

    2024 Ski - Doo

That’s what I did/do but would love to have the option to save 1500-2000 on a smaller bore closer to 140 hp…

John's graphic for the upcoming storm ...

John’s yellow crayon is for storm totals COMBINED. Most news stations have said areas in 2-4, 3-5 range for TONIGHT and 8-12, 10-16, 12-18 range for THURSDAY…. Combine the higher ends and it puts you near 24”.

    2024 Ski - Doo

I’m not trying to downplay how good of a motor Doo has with their 600. I just feel like the power difference between their 600 and 850 is too substantial. I don’t need the power my 850 has, and would prefer something in the 140 hp range, and I know I’m not alone.

    2024 Ski - Doo

Happy with all of the mentioned above, especially a gen 5 4s. Disappointed no new 650-680 motor and disappointed in track options and customization (I’ve never paid too much attention to Doo snowcheck, so this may be normal). Their renaming of the sleds is also odd. Renegades are now all 4...

    Place to unload in Calumet

All of the above are great, but after this week riding out of houghton shouldn’t be a problem.

    How’s this for you guys

I rode with a tekvest for many years off trail but have not worn one trail riding. After this it has been a thought in my head. She is definitely more mad about her sled than anything, especially with this big storm coming up. I could probably piece together a few things and get it running for...

    How’s this for you guys

Well guys, yesterdays ride didn’t end as well as it started. Left Port Wing and headed up the hill there back east. Not sure if it had a name, but it’s a pretty scenic hill where you can see for miles. Well, on top it was all glare ice. My fiancé thought it looked like a nice straightaway as I...

    How’s this for you guys

On the drive up Mercer looked rideable as they got some snow yesterday. Once we got to Hurley and headed west, it got thin. Not sure I’d ride a sled out of Ashland but the 8 mile drive over to Mequoah, the snow depth doubled and everything was excellent.

    How’s this for you guys

We stayed in Ashland last night, and trailered to the Pine Creek pit stop in Mequoah this morning. Rode up to Valhalla area and played around, took a couple different fun loops before grabbing lunch at the Valhalla Pub and Grub. Pic was taken near Valhalla. All of the surrounding trails around...

    Tomahawk update 2-15-23

I wouldn’t consider 5 weeks for tomahawk a “good run” that area is usually a lock for 8+ weeks a year.

    John’s forecast

Fwiw it still looks rideable up by the SOO

We’re heading to Ashland. Bay field county reports looked excellent.

    Munising and East?

The rain headed farther east than initially forecasted, and the snow storm tomorrow headed farther south than initially forecasted. Definitely didn’t win with this idea…
