2022 Mach Z Straightline Racer Or The Ultimate Cushy Power Cruiser?

When I bought the gas can I was thinking about some routes I take that were close to my maximum. For example, Iron Mountain to Gwinn was something that could be done, but one night in a section there were doing logging I missed a turn and adding about 10-15 miles to the trip home and came back...

2022 Mach Z Straightline Racer Or The Ultimate Cushy Power Cruiser?

I've got my riser all the way up too. before we would gas up in IR then again in sidnaw on our way to L'Anse. Now, I can either skip IR and head to sidnaw or top off in IR and skip sidnaw. I remember once I decided to skip sidnaw with the Apex and pulled into L'Anse with my low fuel light on...

2022 Mach Z Straightline Racer Or The Ultimate Cushy Power Cruiser?

Ok. Maybe I'm the only one with one here?? I can give some of my thoughts...which you already know Pete. How is the turbo engine? I would say the turbo engine feels similar to our Apex engines. Nice long linear pull. Not as snappy as the 850 which I don't care for, but my son loves. smart...

    Covid

Not anymore. Look at the studies done in Israel. The more shots you get the higher the chances you have of getting infected with the omnisniffles.

    1/27 Vilas County Ride

I was on those same trails 1/24. I agree with the clubs doing a good job with the low levels of snow. All the trails were good.

    Munising area conditions?

I friend of mine was up last weekend and he said they have a much snow as he's ever seen in his life. No specific comments on trail conditions but I would have heard if it was not good.

It's been like this for years too. Just this section.

    Iron River MI

Exactly. they cross the bridge then immediately use the turnaround space and double back. I assume the Iron River club does the same since there is a turnaround on the wisc side too. My point is from this location west to the george young junction is typically ignored compared to the rest of...

    Gwinn - Ishpeming - Republic

I didn't head this way today. Went a different way entirely since my two options for food were closed on Mondays.

you can tell they are grooming but not too often.

    Iron River MI

on another subject...I can't for the life of me figure out why the iron river, MI club usually ignores the section of trail 2 between george young and where the trail hands off to the Blue Ox club in Florence. West of george young is almost always great. East of there...not so much. Does anyone...

    Gwinn - Ishpeming - Republic

I mentioned in another thread that they hadn't groomed in a while. However the conditions wouldn't keep me from going through there. We stopped at Hilltop in L'Anse and then doubled back ending up in Florence. Awesome day.

    No Grooming Baraga Club

Very true. Had it all the way back (towards back of sled) and that wasn’t too comfortable. Now it’s more forward and that was much better

    No Grooming Baraga Club

Not yet. I think I’m just getting used to it and to be honest I’ve stayed away from the twisties:) Yesterday was a mix of some twisties but mostly grades or trails like 107. I did ride our 2021 850 XRS and was a little lighter steering but not much so I really think I was just spoiled with the...
