I agree with what you said, not to say the comments on long tracks aren't true but if you respect a fresh groom even with long tracks the trails will be fine. Limiting a particular size sled might not be the way to go. Consider when all we had was 121" tracks. Would crossover been banned back...

Forgive me for not being educated in this subject but does Michigan have a different system to fund clubs than Wisconsin? Different state I get it but is the way clubs get funding similar?

I don't have the answers but we snowmobilers need to figure out a better way to manage this problem before it's too late. I realize there have been many dedicated smart individuals leading the system (all the clubs) in the past and I'm not taking anything away from their leadership, but maybe...

I would like to hear if anyone has been in the Sidnaw, Iron River MI, L'Anse, Big Bay, Republic area recently. Not seeing too many reports. I realize it's early season but with the holidays thought there would be some out on the trails where possible.

I love when John puts them up when they aren't expected! Every once in a while when we are expecting a decent storm I check to see if he does a mid afternoon update or on a weekend. I missed this one, but appreciate when he takes the time to do that.

Me again...I have done exactly what you show in that picture in two different locations with great results. I do have to verify if they are emerald green and I will do that Monday with my landscaper.
