Tough spot to be in for the clubs. I would think there are more private landowner parcels in Oneida than Vilas? I can see where the business owners are just besides themselves though.

I can only imagine the pressure to open Oneida. Iron opened a week ago, Vilas the next day, it was pretty thin but since then we have gotten around 7” of snow, still not perfect as Hermie stated but very rideable and smiles on the business owners faces. Hope it happens soon for Oneida!

Total of 3.5” new snow on Wednesday for MW. Dusting this morning.

Seeing the same thing Hermie. These apps throw out some high temps one day and then pull them back the next day. I see Monday next week as having a 30 degree temperature but no higher. Then temps in the mid 20’s are the norm.

Snowed lightly all day, about 3.5” of light snow now since Tuesday here in Manitowish Waters. Trails look ok, ride them while you can!

2” of light snow overnight and still snowing, take anything we can get. Not the sweetest trails but they are rideable, ride safe and support the local businesses!

Sweep, it looks likes we got a fresh inch of snow overnight. Trails look ok but obviously thin. I don’t think the traffic has been that heavy up here yet but probably will this weekend as it warms up.

Sweep, I agree with Hermie, I was over in Boulder Junction today and trails are rideable. The Coontail gas station even had a nice layer of ice to ride up to the pumps. It’s not perfect, early season at best, not sure what it will look like by the weekend? Supposed to get ranch of snow...

Well, it’s 1 degree at 6pm tonight. Went in to town today but didn’t see a lot of sleds out, temp was about 6 degrees during the day. It’s going to get pretty cold for the next few days, sure would be nice to get a few inches of snow to go over the base. Most will leave on Sunday and it looks...

A couple of years ago the big snows all fell in February and March, even had a huge storm on April 1st, April Fools day. Never know what Mother Nature will serve up.
