All I can say is they are nice for the amount of snow they have to work with. We keep getting 1,2,3” every few days and that all adds up. For early February it’s not bad considering you have one month left in the season. We just need a couple of big storms but they have not materialized this year.

3-6” forecasted, received an inch here in MW. Looked like it stayed west and north. It snowed heavy for about 1 hour last night and then moved north.

Trail 2 towards Boulder at 9pm tonight, freshly groomed and steady snow coming down.

One forecast has 3-6” for tonight, and 4-8” for Saturday in Manitowish Waters. We’ll see what happens.

It was probably 79-80 that we started going up there snowmobiling, back then a long trip was 40 miles and usually someone broke down. But there were trails between the towns back then.

Darren, those boulders are right up against the concrete, the siding doesn’t touch them, it may look like it does because I painted the concrete the same color as the siding. Also the siding is fiber cement board and it’s all sealed on each end to keep moisture out. The attached pic shows it...

Hey Hermie, well BJ, MW, and Winchester residents were pretty much against it so I think they are not happy with the county overriding the town. Think about it, HWY 51 divides the town and people on the west side of 51 are pretty much landlocked out of getting into MW because they can’t run 51...
