I would think anyone that has ridden the Gogebic area probably has a story or 2 about that lake. Wife and I dropped on lake at far south end by the bridge sunshine by Gogebic lodge snowing wanted to eventually get off at Bergland bay but by time we were 3/4 way up on west side snowing so hard...

Les is great to pile on snow but system snow usually has way more moisture in it and builds a way better base which is needed first. BUT I will take anything at this point!

I just looked on Menards website you can get a whole door with frame for $350 plus figure another $200-$300 in labor unless you live in an area where they gouge people for work and your into a new door not a 20 year old door that is repaired. Just another thought if you don’t feel comfortable...

Driving through Minocqua area yesterday saw a few out on the north end of the lake ice fishing. Also saw someone out on Cisco lake on the Cisco chain today. Hopefully by weekend I can get out firsthand to put some holes in the lake and see if I can get the sled out. Thinking at least Cisco...

As much as I miss riding I’m missing my 6-7 hours of slow cruising also.

One thing I had happen once it there is a small capacitor or something like that inside that I had to replace as mine started running slower. Not in the motor but in the mounting area.

Family went to Eagle River yesterday and waitress said her brother or friend don’t remember which was waterskiing on Christmas also.

bayfly think of it this way if you cancel because of no snow, no one else is going to jump at the chance to book without snow, so just be prepared to rebook if it starts getting snow. A little gamble but should be able to work.
