    Good games today!

I am disappointed in the Lions loss, but, am glad they had such a good season overall. We can all say, shoulda, coulda, woulda, but, that doesn't change anything. They'll be back and better than ever.

Mild & Crappy for January in the Keweenaw

1/26/2024, Temps continuing in the mid to upper 30's with night temps remaining above freezing. Grooming has ceased until the night temps drop. Everything is like mashed potatoes right now.

    UP next week

You timed your visit right, conditions are on a slide right now & don't look to improve anytime soon. Glad to hear you got in a good run though. We'll have to see how this next timeline pans out. I have my reservations though, this is one bassakwards winter, thanks to El Nino.....

    1st "Snowmobile Races"

Very cool! I had read that the Model T had been retrofitted with skis for the front & track kit for the rear so postal deliveries cold be done in the winter. Our girls went to Camp Luther for a few summers, they enjoyed it, nice place. Thanks for sharing that.

Mild & Crappy for January in the Keweenaw

Currently 36 degrees & the snow is on the melt down. The only thing that is keeping that to a slower pace is that it has been & looks to remain cloudy. Highs to remain in the mid 30's with lows of 33. This pattern looks to continue through the first 2 weeks of February. It figures, I just...

looking at ski doos, need advise

When the platform of the site changed, everybody went to 0 postings. I think Indy was 15 when he first started on here? Can't be sure, but I do remember his little modified metal storage shed for his sled, good stuff.

Depth will vary based on area, & things are rideable, higher terrain areas would be the best bet for a reasonable base. I would stick to the trail, too sketchy to venture off due to hidden hazards & not adequate cover.

I really can't say with certainty how it will be in that time frame. I will say the traffic here has not been hard hit as yet. What happens in the next few days weather wise is another story all together. Temps are expected to be in the mid thirties by Thur, Fri, Sat & remain cloudy, then cool...

    Refrigerators

I don't want to take anything away from Frigidaire, or GE for that matter, but, when it comes right down to it none of these are made to last anymore. The most one can reasonably expect out of todays major appliances is 7 to 10 yrs. I have lived in my home for 35 yrs now & I have been through 3...
