That is a picture of wishful thinking. The GFS & Euro models don't show anything "heavy" into the near future. Currently 46 deg & sunny, feels like spring. The week ahead looks warm as well with chance of rain & temps over 50 by next Sat.

My condolences to the family & friends. Temptation to be on the ice this year is not a wise choice at all.

The eastern UP gets it again. It looks like more LES on the way for them through the day today, but, after that, your guess is as good as mine as the forecast is calling for temps in the mid to upper 30's to 40 inland. The tease of winter continues, one day it's here, the next day it's not...

You beat me to that as I heard about this late this morning. Not that it matters much as there isn't anything to groom much less to ride on. We may end uo with a few inches (4-8") over the weekend, but, that will be short lived as next week looks to get into the mid to upper 30's possibly areas...

We had temps in the +55 deg range yesterday, night time temps have been above freezing for over a week now. Snow cover is down to about 4-6" & the trails are dirt. Only snow cover is in areas that have not been plowed or groomed. Had some light rain early this a.m. & currently have a few flakes...
