    Adams County, Wi...3-14-23

Good run! That was probably the longest cold stretch we had after some good snowfall. That new snow on Sunday and Monday really helped the trails there.

Are you a WI resident / snowmobiler? LRB 2158

Perfect example right now with the late season snow. This helps all clubs!

    How to avoid the roads?

Correct, directly north of Namekagon. Seeley is half way between Hayward and Cable. Basically all those loop trails east of there.

3/7 MW, BJ, Presque Isle, Winchester Ride

The north trails along 70 on west side of St Germain were a little thin last weekend. 10E was perfect last Thursday, but was little soft/bumpy coming back on Friday afternoon. Definitely a fun one! 8E was little rough on Saturday also. Trail 6 is always a fun twisty one. It was perfect...

    How to avoid the roads?

Agreed on the Portage bar! They are little more expensive but very nice owner. I would love to see it in the summer time with the live music. Yes, both routes(north and south) into Cable require road runs. I would try to stay outside of the towns now. Lot of lodging options. Lakewoods is nice...

    Boulder, Sayner, MW 3/2 ride

I based out of Eagle River this last weekend. Trails were superb all Thurs and Friday morning. Very good! They started softening up Friday afternoon, but firmed up very well over the nights. Same thing Saturday morning. Excellent in the morning. We were done riding by around 2 on Saturday. I...

    How to avoid the roads?

Which county? Some county maps will list the road routes. Otherwise, for the trails that run part of the road, you could use Polaris ride command and zoom in to look. Some trails do a good job running the ditch on those, but others you are forced to ride on the road. If you tell us which...

    Tomahawk Update 2-22-23

Columbia county needs to split into zones to make it easier! It was worded poorly. I had to read it multiple times for it to "somewhat" make sense. Basically everything north of B was open, including the trails west of I39, going up to the Marquette county line. I think that Lewiston trail was...

    Tomahawk Update 2-22-23

Correct. We had maybe 20" of snow the entire season last year. This year was 3 days of very marginal conditions about 3 weeks ago, and 4 days this last weekend. Better then last year.... We should have opened in December, but holiday hunt prohibited that. Which is another huge issue. I run...

    Tomahawk Update 2-22-23

We were riding around that area on Friday. Trails around Coloma were really good. Endeavor and part of Neshkoro were the only clubs that groomed in Marquette county. Oxford had a good turnout for their breakfast club fundraiser on Saturday morning. It was great to leave from my house, and not...

    How’s this for you guys

Glad everyone is ok! Objects are fixable, lives are not. Glad she has the attitude to get back on. My wife broke her wrist about 5 years ago from a trailing arm mount breaking loose, and caused no steering. She wanted back on and wished she could have done something different. Stuff happens...

I've been using the 509 chest protector this year. It has a great fit! I bought it at haydays last year, and I was able to get a good feel for how it worked with my jacket. The 509 took the place of my mid layer now. I do need to be aware of how warm it will be though. My main jacket is an...

Enclosed trailer purchase.. looking for help

Thanks, welcome! For the door, I really never have it parked on the street. I do have times it was was parked along the road when I dropped somewhere, but pretty rare. Usually parking lots, and I never have to worry about that hazard. At my house, my access is on best used on that side, and...

La Nina is here, anything that explains the warmer weather we have had this winter?

Here in central WI we've had good moisture this winter. Just more rain then snow this year due to the warmth. Or like last week S. WI had 8". Couple days later it was all melted. Last year was cold and no moisture. Can't win... That's why last year was very frustrating for central WI. If we had...

Enclosed trailer purchase.. looking for help

Same size as mine. Works good! Especially if you need the 5th sled. That's the only time I have needed to "finesse" a sled around in there. My fenders inside are not as tall as yours, so I was able to run the ski guides over the fenders. I'll give some other specs I added from factory, and...

    Munising and East?

I39 North was a ghost town today compared to weeks past. I usually pass a lot of trailers heading north on Wed-Fri. I didn't see a single one.

Enclosed trailer purchase.. looking for help

All good info! I believe my 27'(22' box + 5'V), weighs right around 3K. My diesel pulls it very well. We'll sometimes take my dad's Suburban. Crazy weight difference compared to my old steel deckover. I feel the 22' box is a good fit. I've been able to get 5 sleds in mine before. Nice setup! I...
