Great miles, how was the new sled?

Yeah, if the forecast is correct, it won’t Be good.

Up to 8” on some lakes in MW area. Be advised that all lakes are different, some are shallow which have had more time to freeze and the deeper ones took longer to ice over. My advice, if you don’t see activity on a certain lake you may not want to be the first one on it.

I have these as well as the ski Dollie’s and they both work great. They came with my sled, also work great on dry parking lots.

Pics of our lake today and what we have left on the ground. We picked up a quick inch as the front moved through tonight. Colder the rest of the week. Predicting 3-6” for Thursday and Thursday night. I might try a little ice skating this week!

Sunday afternoon and evening were not kind to us. Mother Nature took back some white gold and conditions have really deteriorated. We now have water on top of the ice and our snow cover is down to a couple of inches. Disappointing…….pray for cold and snow!

Skyview had a great breakfast, great stop. Birch Lake Lodge burned down and then Skyview ran into problems. It was nice to have a couple of places on that side of town. The Retreat Bar is a great stop just down the trail!

Just a boring blase weekend here.

Pete, there is about 3” of solid base right now with 2” of light snow on top. Obviously not enough, I guess my question would be how much pressure will County get from Businesses to open? Its a tricky situation but it could all be great if the big one arrives (as pictured) we’ll all be smiling!

These issues are everywhere, now that I live here full time rarely do I ride on the weekends. There was no riding in Our northern counties last year so it will be interesting to see how people handle themselves this season once things start to get going. We are facing other issues within the...

It has been very cold the last few days with lows in -10 to -15 range at night. Warming to 16 today, possibly mid 30’s for Sunday and Monday then back into the sub freezing weather. Not much snow in the forecast, and inch or two, here and there. We’ll see what the county decides on for opening...
