This is what I use on my pontoon boat, spray it on right after you pull it out in the fall.

Our neighbor just had one and she was doing very well but I think she pushed herself a little hard. They also put you on painkillers so you’ll have to get used to those. She is doing really good after 8 weeks but I agree all people heal differently.

Where I live usually once a year, some you can actually clean and use again. As garage guy said, take it out and look at it, if it’s dirty replace it.
