75 miles today so far. Took trail 2 west out of Boulder junction then up trail 6 to Presque Isle and had lunch at the PI Pub. Trails were fantastic at that point. Then took trail 6 southeast out of PI after lunch, that stretch was pretty brutal, too much traffic and last nights groom can’t hold...

    Calling all snowmobilers!!

I don’t get social security to buy my sleds like the fine folk of Spooner!

    Calling all snowmobilers!!

I feel attacked 😂 club baseball monthly dues are more than my sled payment. We’ll be spending Memorial Day and 4th of July weekends out of state for tournaments. If it sounds crazy, it’s because it is.

Hermie, passed you around noon today just west of Sayner! We trailered to conover to get the little man back in the saddle. Made it to the burnt bridge and the sleds were overheating. Base was thin and very bumpy on trail 8 along hwy K. Due to the bumps, the little man couldn’t go fast enough...

    Calling all snowmobilers!!

Have to ask, what is your club? 60 miles sounds like A LOT for a club south of hwy 8. Most clubs around me do under 20, my local town club does 8 miles, really should join forces with the neighboring clubs at this point.

Put on another great 40 miles and had a fantastic dinner at Fin n Feather supper club in Winneconne. Word of advice though, riding in and out of Winneconne on the snowmobile routed town streets SUCKS, especially when I just put brand new shaper bars and studs on the woman’s new blizzard.

Trailered down to Neenah and took a 40 mile spin yesterday afternoon in Winnebagos zone 2. I couldn’t find Gary, but I did find phenomenal trails!

If you are heading north to ride......

Yup, went way south. Wish the Northwoods would’ve got the brunt of it. 7” here in the fox valley area

If you are heading north to ride......

Get out and ride… Tuesday nights clipper may bring rain to southern 1/3 of the state.

    What gives?

That’s where I’m torn. I see a couple clubs saying have at er, carry a saw and cut what you want while riding and have a ball. Some clubs saying we have so much work to do we would love help but then turning down offers. And then some clubs inviting any and all help and scheduling work...

    What gives?

I’m sure most of you are in tune, with how big of a mess the western UP and far northern WI has on their hands. Downed trees everywhere after last weeks storm leaving trails impassable. All of the clubs desperately in need of help to get things ready for snowmobilers to come up and enjoy. I have...

Snow Reports for 11-29 and the Weekend

Funny thing, last week a regular visitor at the woman’s work has a cabin in iron mountain area and they were chatting about snow/snowmobiling. She came home to tell me this and I told her I feel bad for that cabin owner because it never snows there LOL

I would say 5” just northwest of Appleton (north Greenville area). Here’s a 48 hr snow accumulation map from this storm.
