The only thing I can say that causes that is a bunch of throttle jockies on the trail this side of that line. It doesn't take much to tear it up in a hurry, especially if it has been run regularly prior to groom & no set up time. Not a groomer operator(s) issue.

+3 at 8 a.m. this morning here in the banana belt of the Keweenaw. Not sure what the current temp is because I am at work & don't care. :)

The Freda loop has been closed as well as trail 3 from Dollar Bay to Lake Linden since 2018 due to the Fathers Day flood that decimated a good chunk of our area. We have taken a good hit here in the Keweenaw, but not a total loss of cover. The winds are pretty outrageous right now though. It will get better though, it's early yet, as I have said before, I've seen it start much later than this. Sometimes not until New Years or later, but when it settles...
