NWS Mqt has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Thursday 8pm to Friday afternoon. Snowfall of 7-12" possible with wind gusts of 45 mph expected. Looking at the model runs, both Euro & GFS are in agreement, we cannot get a break here.

I know better, I'm just burned out. This winter has been a temperature roller coaster with a lot of wet heavy snows. A lot of ice everywhere making walking treacherous when shoveling. Winter here is a job in itself & this one has been a lot of work & lets not forget winter here can last well...

3" of fresh snow yesterday and this morning here in the banana belt of the Keweenaw. I tried to post yesterday, but the discussion board was again unavailable. We are suppose to get more through the day today & again possibly over the weekend. Yay!:rolleyes:

We don't need anymore! You can keep it. There is snow in our forecast again with colder weather Tues through Sun. Even after 4 days of 40 to 50 degrees & an occasional rain, we still have 3' plus on the ground. Please keep it south of us.....🙏

3" of wet snow after the early morning rain here in the Keweenaw. Actually had to plow for the first time in a week. Rain likely in the early a.m. followed by 48 deg and windy on Sunday. Snow possibly by midweek next week. Go figure.

The western UP will see some rain as well tonight into part of Saturday. We still have a lot of snow, the issue with it now is the warmer days & cooler nights which makes a lot of ice where it doesn't belong & the base is like a brick until it warms a bit.
