I found something else to watch at halftime though I did peek at it for about 10 seconds & said to myself oh hell no.... I have no desire to listen to spanish music sung entirely in spanish much less by BB. IMO, one of the crappiest halftime shows ever.

As far as Superbowl commercials go, Budweiser has always had excellent heartfelt commercials, hands down, the best. As far as the beer, it's okay, not a beer drinker anymore, but, in the day, Bud was it. All else aside, their commercials are top notch & they all pull at your heartstrings.

Awoke to -11 this morning with an additional 4" of fine LES. Currently -1, we have received over 16" here in the banana belt with well over 27" in Keweenaw county.

Really the best thing at this point short of getting it into a heated garage is heating the inside of the trailer so you can pull the snow & ice off. Don't try tapping on it, you'll end up causing damage. You will for sure want that load off of there before you venture down the road with it...

Awoke to a fresh 4"+ of LES this morning with a balmy 3 degrees here in the Keweenaw. Frequent bands through the morning and into this afternoon.

It's gonna be a little messy & thin due to all the work that went into reopening with tree removal etc... but, it's finally back in service, nice to see, it's been 8 years.

Yeah, those were the good ole days. There are still a few stupid questions that pop up every once in while to keep things interesting though.:cool:

Another Winter Storm Warning posted by the NWS Mqt for Northern Houghton and Keweenaw counties from 7pm Sun (1-18) to 10 am Mon (1-19). Snowfall amounts have been reduced to 2 to 5 ", however winds are expected to gust to 40 mph creating hazardous conditions. Stay safe.

Finished shoveling and plowing at noon. Moved 3 to 4 inches of fresh LES. Despite temps in the mid 20's the snow was reasonably light. In the grand scheme of things, just another winter day in the Kee.

I need to clarify that the Winter Storm Warning has been amended for Northern Houghton county, the Winter Storm Warning remains in effect for Gogebic and Ontonagon counties.
