    Vilas County

I will be shocked if Vilas leaves them open. I know they can reopen the trails if conditions improve just not sure they will. It has been a long season for a lot of the clubs up there with the late November storm doing so much damage then the storm after Christmas doing some damage. I think a...

    Lincoln County/Langlade County 3-2-26

I hear you on this one. After 2 bad seasons was really hoping to get most of March in. Pretty much every year I am wishing it was longer. Could go to end of March then I am wishing it would go to mid April and so on. Just live being out on the sled and spending quality time with the wife on the...

    Vilas County

I would have to agree with pending some big weather change this is it. Some trails are still amazing while some trails have a ice base with a couple of inches of snow. The trails with the couple of inches on them will be pure ice by next weekend. It has been a really good season would of loved...

    Vilas County

Seeing the same as you but I have definitely taken a wait and see approach with the weather. Seems like the weather guessers are more wrong than they have ever been. With that being said we are getting ready into bonus season, anything after the 1st is a nice bonus.

    Vilas County

You are correct Paul you wouldn't of guessed it was in the upper 40's last weekend. The new snow pretty much erased that. Trails are a little more icy but and some of the roads are thin now. I keep seeing people asking how are the roads. Once you get to late February into March you should start...

    UP trail 160

Yeah I am not sure what's going on in Sayner either. They haven't groomed at all since last Friday. I do know they borrowed a groomer to Northern Hornshoe in Lac Du Flambeau. There trails were pretty good especially the grade. All of Vilas trails I have ridden so far this week have been good...

    UP trail 160

Well we ended up taking 15 to Boulder to 6 Presque Isle. Took 1 to to 2 which was in excellent shape. Took 2 to 160. Took 160 to the overlook. It was pretty rough along most of GRTA trails. I don't think 160 has been groomed in some time. We ran into another couple at the overlook and he highly...

    UP trail 160

I have ridden Bayfield but it has been a while like a long while. Before we had a house up here I use to ride different areas all the time.

    UP trail 160

Thank you Indy I am trying to find trail info conditions but it's hard GRTA doesn't seem very good at updating anything.

    UP trail 160

Has anyone taken this loop and if so is it worth it. Trying to decide if it's worth it to load up the sleds on the trailer and take off from White Thunder riders parking lot on 51 to do this loop or say the heck with it and just ride from the house and go elsewhere. Thanks

    How hard of a hit....?

That's because Indy's is going beyond 10 days. The snow looks to hit next Thursday but again long way out so it's wait and see. They can't get the forecast 3 days out correct.

    How hard of a hit....?

I think up in the U.P they will be just fine. They got so much snow. The trails in Vilas really need a fresh snow fall, like Attackman said the moisture is beat out of the snow. The warm up may help if it doesn't get too bad to put some moisture in the snow. The biggest concern I have is it's...

    Something to Consider

I have them on both our sleds. I have the Ski Doo ones that go on the center of the handguards. I like them and I am liking keeping both hands on the bars. Gary you don't have to switch back and forth. If you are not the last guy you leave it on yellow if you are the last guy you leave it on...

    Bergland to silver city

One question is how long do you want to ride? Marenisco has a nice spot to park and take off from and 102/11 is a really nice scenic trail. Then you can loop down to Bergland and head back from there. It's roughly around 100 miles
