We are finally going to get a heavy wet snow now that it won't last long. Maybe they will open the trails for one more weekend if this happens. I think they know the businesses could use it we shall see.

I saw some sleds up at Bent's camp. The trails don't look terrible up by Land o. From what the sno- bunnies are saying it does look like Vilas could open back up without a full inspection

Looks like the snow eagles went out and groomed last night and cleared some trees. The one trail doesn't look too bad that they posted. I wouldn't doubt there is still some on riding out there but there is also a lot of really bad to go with it.

I was surprised to see this. I thought for sure with Kip taking on cat that they either had a buyer or they were planning on starting up production again. Sad day hopefully they will get it all squared away and get going again.

If this is true that is really crappy and I wouldn't patronize that hotel or resort again if they decided that's the only criteria if you can ride or not if trails are open. There not a sledder in there rite mind would ride the trails unless you want to have a reason to get a new sled next year

It also says temporary closing leaving the possibility of reopening if some miracle a winter storm actually hits the north woods. I can't say any snows really bother me. I could sit in my living room with a fire and watch it snow all day. There is something relaxing about watching the snow come down and it always brings out the kid in me.😊

Yeah the 22/23 season was excellent from the beginning until the 31st of March. The 1st picture is from March 31st a mile from the house in St.Germain the second is up in Boulder. It was awesome with only a handful of people taking advantage of the trails
