Unfortunately this is true. No wet heavy snow equal brown trails. We have gotten nothing but powdery snow since January. We had some wet snow in December but melted with the rain.

Unfortunately old Abe I think you are correct. Funny thing about the sled, ski Doo changed the part # a couple of years ago on the pick up coil now all of sudden they are failing. If I had to guess the part # change is due to getting it from a different vendor.
