Good Stuff, have used it for years

Ha, still plenty of snow on the ground here, it's 6 degrees as I speak. Gonna be awhile, but don't have a lot of yardwork to do up here, it's all natural just the way I like it.

Heck, there is still a good 24-30" of ice on the lake at this point. This stuff is not going anywhere soon unless it warms up and rains, it's looking like another May ice out which is at least 2 weeks behind schedule. I'm so ready for nice weather to get here.

Yep, about 2" of sleet, snow, slush here in MW. We did not get as much ice as they said we were going to get, happy about that. No power outages here, although we were ready if it happened. It's going to be awhile before summer gets here but it's sunny on this great day, Easter!

We got about an inch of sleet here in MW, it was worse the farther south you went. I am personally happy that we didn't get the ice storm or heavy snow at this date in the Spring. Have to get through another one coming Friday night into Saturday. Not a great start to April.....

I heard that the hotel room portion of it was in bad shape as people had stayed there years ago and didn't have very good things to say about the accommodations.

Picbn, you mentioned the Carlin Club, that was one of my favorite places. It closed then it opened back up for awhile, but then it closed again, I think for good. Awesome place, great food, nice bar, and great views of the lake from the dining room with a nice fire going when it was cold out.

It's not in good shape, been closed for some time now. Not sure what's going to happen to it, too bad, it was a great place in the day.

Yep, it was a good winter, we had snow here since Thanksgiving on the ground and still have it. Under a winter storm warning for late tonight into Thursday. Could be mixed with ice/rain, if all snow we'll get 10-12" and it will be heavy wet snow which we really don't need at this point. Lakes...

There was a time I would have had some trail beers in there but honestly, I can't daydrink anymore, don't even want to. I save the drinking for after we get home now. That's just me, do your own thing.o_O

That box carries everything that I need when out in the woods if I breakdown. Tools, battery charger/starter, firestarter, lighter, a little antifreeze, extra gloves, hat, tow rope, etc. I ride alone sometimes and like to be prepared.

Love to catch and release, we’ll be netting in late April as soon as ice out for walleyes for tomorrow. It’s so cool to see the large fish we net and release.
