Tks, Indy. I was mainly referring to Vilas County as they seem little timid and very particular at times to open trails here. Of course, we do have lot of swamps as well so that would factor into their decisions as well. As of yesterday, they weren't even panning yet.

Wisconsin tends to stay on the conservative side and not open trails until they are perfect.

There is usually designated parking throughout the UP but I can only give you one that I know of and it is in Bergland. At least you used to be able to park there at the edge of town right on the highway.

Affordable housing in ER area is non-existent. Stores get foreigners to come here and work for the summer and stay in upstairs apartments.

They do that on ice, too. John Greaves and his circuit raced here for a couple of years, it was a blast. He took me around the track a couple of times and didn't get off the throttle. Got a pic of him and I airborne over some woops! First lap was definitely white knuckles for me, lol.

Lived in Bergland 91-93 and the planes would buzz the area, you could even see the pilots they were so low.

If it is dual outlet, try plugging it into the other one. Usually one receptacle is hot and the other controlled by the switch. Hate them, but that's what's in my house.

The Vintage races have been pushed back to Feb 8-11 which was no surprise. As of right now we can't make ice because of warm temps. Forecast looks to be getting better in that respect and we are holding on to the dates for the Pro circuit Jan 18-21. Hopefully we can make enough ice for that...
